The evening conversations in Poddy Dodger's Bar are lively, as guests from all over the world relive the adventures of the day- the animals and birds spotted, the views from the climbing trails, the history discovered and the adventures enjoyed. The following days are often planned sitting under a sky ablaze with stars, not seen in the confines of the city.
The resort has 60 rooms of which 34 are motel style and 26 are deluxe suites (10 of which have cooking facilities). There is a restaurant, bar and heated swimming pool. Internet access is available in the store and also the bar.
All have ensuite bathroom facilities; all are air conditioned and have television.
Climb a mountain. Then climb a bar stool.
Enjoy a drink at Poddy Dodgers Bar at the end of a day's sight-seeing, dine at Captain Starlight's restaurant, or use one of the casual barbecue areas for an informal Aussie BBQ.
An outback experience with all the mod cons ….
The Visitors' Complex includes an information centre, a well-stocked general store, petrol and diesel supplies and internet and phone access.
